MacDonald's!

Well maccas here is on another level! I have always known this and now its time to share the unhealthy-ness hahaha
At the moment they are having a promotion called Big America 2 where they release limited burgers (I mean way limited - 2 weeks only on the menu) after American states/cities.

I missed the Texas burger, but I managed to eat the Idaho and the recently departed Miami!
F-ing yum! Can't wait for the Manhattan to come out next week!

The Idaho has a hash brown with bacon and yummy mustard sauce! - I was sure I had a picture but its gone =(

Unexpected Happiness

During my hectic week of parent observations (a week where parents are invited to watch their kids in class) my JT Miho gave me a lovely gift. Yummy butter cookies and a handmade knitted beanie!
The beanie was so warm and cute! Absolute love at first site!

Japan Fashion Week

After spending my free time keeping tabs on NYFW the past 10 days, I am gearing up for Japan Fashion Week. It is hitting Tokyo on 18th - 25th March!

Happy Valentine's Day

In Japan Valentine's Day is slightly different than what we have back home. It's traditional for the girls to give the guys chocolates and they decide whether to accept or reject. Many of my students have spent the weekend making choco goodies!

Geisha Hunting!

Catching up with an old bud in Kyoto town! I was all templed out so I decided it was a day of shopping and wondering the back streets of Gion!
We manage to spot some Geishas heading off into the night around 4:30 - 5pm (apparently the best time).Yay









We ended the day in an "all you can eat" yaki-niku (BBQ meat) and "all you can drink". Fun days!

A Time to Celebrate!

Sometimes a girl just needs to dressed up and have a night out! I was finally out of my denim, tshirt and hoodie for a change~

The weather has been surprisingly warm this week so I was able to get away with less layers! krispy kreme for starters, gyu-nabe for dinner, mochi cream for dessert! It was a treat indeed.
